10-B: Final Free-Choice Project Reflection: May 31
Evaluation/Reflection
1. My project is a drawing and I used pencil and paper. It took me about 8 hours.
2. I did well at the detail and shading, and how it looks like outdoors because it has good detail. However, I didn't do so well at my time management.
3. I thought I could've done better at adding more tree's on the horizon line because there is not enough of them.
4. I drew a nature and sunset because it sets a more settle emotion. It's easing to the eye because of the natural things we take for granted in our lives.
5. The elements of my project are value because as it goes toward vanishing point the drawings get lighter. Also, I did space between the sky closer to the sun it was lighter and further away it got darker. I believe these are important because they all make the drawing eye catching.
6. The important principles in my project are the balance because on each set of grass it was equally distributed through out my drawing. Also, unity because of the sunset and nature was very key to my project.
7. I learned from this project to use your time wisely and you won't be as stressed out because no one wants to be behind or stressed out.
8. First I drew out the shapes of the objects and the basic things. Second, I drew more detail to the objects. Third, I added more objects and detail. Fourth I shaded, to make it contrast and have value. Last, I revised it to make it look the way I had in mind.
9. I did the project because I love nature and life. It was by chance, and doing so, I had to erase and make changes to the value and erase the house that had been in the middle. I had to face the challenge of having value and a lot of detail on such a big sheet of paper.
10. I'm glad I did the nature and sunset drawing because it made me frustrated but respect the elements and meaning of art. I'm glad I took art this year because it will always be there in the future years to come and can make hobbies out of it. Yes, it was frustrating but I learned life skills.
